We are so happy with Zach's senior pictures that we wanted to write a testimonial to recommend Kara wholeheartedly to anyone looking for a reasonably priced, easy to work with, laid back photographer for those stressful senior pictures. Our son was less than thrilled about the whole process, but Kara had him feeling comfortable in no time. She was patient and very observant, learning some of his quirks while on the photo shoot and capturing them on film (much to his mother's delight)! We figured we may be lucky enough to have 2 or 3 good photos to choose from, but we had 165 wonderful, varied photos! Kara put several of them together for our portfolio so it was easier for us to see the possibilities and she even came over to the house to "hold my hand" and walk us through the purchase of our selections. We had pictures taken in mid-June and we had all the finished products in our hands (including a fantastic keepsake memory photo album) before school started this fall. Kara is a gem!

We have had 2 sessions with Kara now and let me say she is a rare gem! She is not only an excellent photographer (the pictures speak for themselves) but she really, I mean REALLY, knows how to handle children. We have 2 yr old twins and a 4 yr old. There are a lot of photographers that don't have the patience to deal with kids, but Kara is so different! Our kids can't wait to go hunt for monkeys with Kara again! She has a fun, gentle way about her that the kids just gravitate toward. She was able to capture each of their personalities perfectly. When I look for a good photographer I look to see how they capture the 2 yr olds, and she does an amazing job!

Kara is the best! She is so professional and creative in her work. We love that she is open-minded and unique, but at the same time she emphasizes her natural subjects and makes them the key to every photo without over-editing.

We worked with Kara for both our engagement and our wedding photos and we absolutely love the results!
